WHAT IS A DOUBLE WALL VACUUM MONITORed TANK
The DWVM (Double Wall Vacuum Monitor) is a system in place on most of our double walled steel tanks. This system continuously monitors the walls and floors of both the inner and outer tanks, allowing for the presence of a leak to be pinpointed and dealt with quickly and precisely. This gap also helps to enhance the lifespan of the tank due to the oxygen free atmosphere the vacuum creates. These double-walled (and sometimes diked) steel tanks offer great protection to both the liquid product stored inside, and the environment around the work area. The need for further diking or berming has virtually been eliminated, however it is advised to consult with the authority having jurisdiction in your area, if any further environmental or safety precautions are required.
